I really love how anorexia has somehow become the new standard of beauty for celebrities. Maybe in the future, schools won't bother showing Holocaust footage, because everyone will look like a death camp victim naturally.

Mortality

I don't make as big a deal about death as most people, and this image helps explain that. Why do people get so upset about death? Would we really prefer a world where every abuser, rapist, and waste of skin ever born has eternal life?

Sad, but true. This screencap is from Hotel Rwanda, if you don't recognize it. I'd say more about this, but it annoys me that the movie won all kinds of awards and "best of" lists, while the real-life genocide it depicted was ignored, as usual. What can I say? People only care when they don't have to actually DO anything.
